Happy Times! I took my 8 year old nephew for the junior experience. We thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. The animals were calm and friendly and the staff very knowledgeable and professional. The farm was clean and well run and you could tell the animals are very well cared for and loved. I thought the price was very reasonable. Would do again and I highly recommend it for both adults and children.

5* Experience My husband and I visited Nidderdale Llamas in March and had a great morning. Booking was easy, there was a great choice of experiences available, and the instructions/directions were clear. We were very lucky and were the only people booked on that experience, allowing us a very personalised visit. Jess was so knowledgeable, and it was clear that she cared about the welfare of all the animals there. After an hour of meeting different llamas and alpacas, we enjoyed a short trek around the countryside. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed our time. A big shout out to Olly & Lloyd who were, of course, the stars of the show. A wholesome morning in beautiful surroundings - highly recommended.

The best day out! What a wonderful day out! We went on a half day trek with our llama 'Nigel' who was simply the best - we really didn't want to hand him over at the end of our walk! The whole set up is so well done, with priority given to the welfare and wellbeing of 62 lovely llamas - and they are all such characters. As well as an enjoyable walk through stunning Nidderdale, we learned loads about the behaviour and quirks of these fabulous animals. Felt in very safe hands with a team who were both professional and fun. Only wish we'd had a sunnier day, but all the more reason to go again! It's the best way to step away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. Highly recommend.

A family Llama & Alpaca Experience with a short trek - Perfect! We booked a shorter session (Teen Experience and Trek) as uncertain how my girls would react to the llamas and alpacas. Better than expected. Had plenty of time to get used to both alpacas and llamas. Charlotte was so knowledgeable, and we learned so much from her. They do not smell (don't worry), and each had their own characters - Charlotte matched us to our own llama to trek with. We had a private session all to ourselves as a family of four.

Simply first class. I can only endorse the many excellent reviews for Nidderdale Llamas. We had a lovely afternoon meeting a host of llamas and alpacas and walking with Floss and Eva, who were full of character but very well behaved and fairly docile. The whole business is very professional without losing the personal touch. Welbeing of the llamas and the safety of visitors is paramount. The introduction, "training" and matching of llama to visitors is thorough and thoughtful and necessary. We were also blessed with fine weather for this gorgeous scenery. Pair with a visit to nearby Brimham Rocks for a full and fun day out. Thank you.

A lovely way to spend a day! We had a lovely time on our half day trek - we had Dobby and Neville and they were so sweet! The team are so friendly and knowledgeable, it was such a lovely way to spend a day. We enjoyed every minute of it and definitely could have spent all day there - I would highly recommend this experience and we will definitely visit again in the future.

FABULOUS My husband gave me this experience for my 70th birthday. WHAT a wonderful day it was. I got Gemma, who decided to stop every few minutes to take in the view. My husband got Pippa who did nothing but give him kisses. Weather was lovely, Susan and Charlotte were lovely, lovely ladies. Very much worth a visit. Thank you ladies for a beautiful day to remember.

Fantastic family experience This was my second visit and I can’t rate it highly enough especially for families. The venue is amazing, the views fantastic. I love that it is an independently run business with amazing staff. Charlotte gets 5 stars for her knowledge, personality and the ability to deal with the one grumpy llama in the pack!! Way above and beyond! 100% recommend.

What a wonderful place this is!! Beautiful animals, beautiful scenery and beautiful people running this business. Couldn't get over the incredible work the workers at Nidderdale Llamas do everyday and how they care so well for the animals in their care. And what fantastic names!!!! I had the pleasure of walking Karl and my partner Dobby. They were well behaved and a pleasure to spend time with. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting North Yorkshire to try them out!!

Booked a family trek for the afternoon. We had a fantastic time getting to meet the Lama and Alpacas, getting to interact close up with them whilst seeing there personalities. Following our speed dating we were matched with our Lama and went on a walk lasting 45 mins. It was a brilliant experience for adults and children. My daughter loved walking her own Lama "Hannah". We had great staff who were with us throughout and her knowledge of all the animals was amazing which added to the experience. I would highly recommend this to everyone looking for a family fun day out

Our first visit for a shorter experience and trek in Nidderdale as a family of 4 with Charlotte and the characterful llamas and alpacas. Charlotte gave us such an informative session, acclimatising us to the lovely creatures indoors - perfectly timed as we then had a lovely trek outdoors in the spring sunshine. We were perfectly matched to three characterful llamas and off we went. Had a wonderful time and the visit has made our family's Easter break really memorable. It is a perfect activity for a family with older teens/ young adults to be out in the dales - an antidote to the city and screens.
