Scatterbrain Steve!
Steve joined Nidderdale Llamas in September 2018 with his best mate Neville. Steve is definitely the sensible one, although he does spend the majority of his time away with the fairies. He is not boring or well behaved all the time, he just knows when is the right time for fun and games! Within the herd, Steve is probably one of the most stubborn llamas, he’s a calm confident chap, who knows his own mind!
Steve is part of our trekking team and he is a confident happy chap, he is happy to take one human or two, he is happy to be in lead place, the middle or at the back of the trek. Steve is able to adapt his behaviour depending on how he feels his handler is feeling, if it is someone more nervous, then he is impeccably well behaved, if it is someone more confident then the more cheeky side of Steve comes out! Steve is also part of our stud male team and is the father of Delilah and Eric.
